Working again

Everything involving my home network is apparently working again. Last night I discovered that while I could receive information to my network card, I could not send it. I solved the problem by simply moving the card into a different PCI slot. I can't express how much a relief it is to finally have all this stuff working again. Getting the software configured actually wasn't that difficult. The pain came through the numerous hardware incompatibilities and failures I kept running into throughout the process. Luckily, I had enough spare parts lying around to still construct a complete machine. I guess you all will now be seeing me online more often, at least until the next mishap.
