Whine whine

I'm going to whine a little for once on my blog. Wednesday, I woke up with a nasty eye infection. My right eye was red and extremely sensitive to light. First, I assumed it was some sort of allergy and took some antihistamines. Then, I promptly fell back to sleep under the influence of those drugs. When I woke up again and discovered that the eye was still as before, I had Eric drive me down to the student health center. They gave me some nice antibiotic drops.
Two days later, my eye is feeling much better. I can again stand to look at my monitor and thus, get some work done. Unfortunately, I am forbidden from wearing my contacts again until the infection has completely gone away, so I have to wear glasses again for about a week. I haven't worn glasses in about 5 years, and it is extremely disorienting. I can't handle the curving effect I get in my peripheral vision and the way everything seems to lag behind my head movements. Blah.
