Recently, I discovered that the $900 or so in real estate taxes I was supposed to pay for this year had already been paid. Thus, I suddenly had $900 of unaccounted for extra money in my bank account. Since I've been thinking about buying a new TV, I decided this was a good time. I found a nice 27" RCA at Best Buy for $189. They have a slightly damaged one for $149 (there's a crack in the plastic housing on the front), so I'm considering getting that instead. Right now, the only working TV in the house is Eric's tiny 13", which isn't quite good enough for all the console gaming we do. It will also be nice to have stereo available. Now, I just need to build that PVR/DVD/MP3 jukebox/emulator machine I've been dreaming about...
