Southwest

April 25, 2002

Well, I guess my new design isn't interesting enough to generate comments. Except for Evan of course.

I've decided to take a little vacation this summer. Kim and I are flying back to Florida for a little visit from June 4-10. My sister's graduation is June 5, and two friends (Couldn't find a pic of rachel, sorry.) of ours are getting married on June 8, so its an opportune time to visit. The thing that clinched this deal is the fact that Southwest Airlines is the cheapest airline ever. They have a "friends fly free" program which means that we only have to buy one round trip ticket for both of us. This makes flying to FL this time almost half as much as it did when we flew ATA in December. I do not know how Southwest Airlines maintains profitability with these ridiculously low fares even during a major slump in the airline industry, and as long as they keep doing what they do, I don't care.
