<p>I must be a total ignoramus about world politics because I never realized that Israel has <a href="http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/israel/index.htm">nuclear weapons.</a> That's just absolutely fantastic. I hope they call them "Jerichos." Seriously, though, this knowledge goes a long way to explaining away some of the strange paradoxes about Israel that I never understood before. Israel's security is much more important to the US than just to garner the Jewish vote.
