Back in my undergraduate days, a friend of mine (Ed) and I were working on a Database project. The idea was to demonstrate our query performance on a real, massive database. Of course, since we didn't have access to any actual databases of sufficient size, we had to populate our DB with tons of fake, generated data. Since Ed and I were making a video game database, we wrote a script to churn out 1000s upon 1000s of plausible video game names. The result was so amusing, I turned it into a Java applet. This applet was lost on the Internet until recently, and now available once again for your immediate enjoyment. Ladies and Gentleman.... the Video Game Name Generator!
