Back to School

Aug. 20, 2001

I thought I had graduated, but it seems that isn't so. Everyone is going back to school, and I've been getting tests and homework and studying. First, I was given a contract job, for which I first need to pass the Java Certification Exam, so I've been studying for that. Then, at an interview on Thursday, I was given both a test and a homework assignment. Thankfully, it seems I've forgotten little over the past summer away from school.

I'm feeling a lot less insecure about our future financial position now that I have this contract job (provided I pass the JCE of course). And I'm also hoping that I get this other position. It looked like a great place to work.

I bought Fallout Tactics since it was on sale at Electronics Boutique, and have been playing that since finishing my homework assignment. Its a lot of fun, and fulfills both my desire to see more of the Fallout universe, and play neat tactical combat games. One thing about being unemployed, you have a lot more time to play games.
